The seat of our culinary service is in Palazzo Agliardi in Bergamo.
In the heart of the old town of Bergamo, in the district favoured by the most influential of the city's noble and merchant families for the construction of their palaces, can be found the sixteenth century seat of the counts of Martinengo.
The palace was bought by today's owners in 1845. The building has a wide courtyard, and the first floor loggia, which is supported by slender columns, overhangs a portico of twin columns and Roman arches that lie in front of the drawing rooms. Inside there is a large and luminous central drawing room, flanked by four beautifully furnished rooms whose ceilings are finely decorated with vivacious eighteenth century frescoes executed by famous artists.
The Venetian architectural style that dominated the city for centuries is apparent above all in the layout of the halls: the central drawing room uniting the courtyard with the garden creating an interesting play of perspectives.
|
|
The roof garden is the palace's crowning glory.
We will be happy to host you for visits, dinners, cocktails, business meetings, concerts, conferences and wedding receptions.

In the heart of the Franciacorta, nestling amongst the vine-covered hills of the Province of Brescia, lies the seventeenth century palace to which we offer exclusive access.
The palace is one of the original "fortified villas" for which the Brescia region is famed, the sobriety of the façade witness to the nobility of its past. A sobriety that enhances the elegance of the broad loggia that welcomes the visitor, introducing him to the ground floor reception halls, each finely furnished and adorned with seventeenth century mouldings and frescoes.
On the first floor six bedrooms, the gallery and drawing room are available for short stays. The two suites are elegantly furnished with four poster beds and "Imperial" style furniture; precious satins bring brightness and colour into the rooms. The mezzanine has been converted into a three room apartment that is an ideal solution for families.

| |
In front of the Palace lies a courtyard, and beyond fields and vineyards. The location is one of unusual beauty.
At the end of the nineteenth century the owner founded a cultural society or "salon" that was regularly attended by important personalities of their time such as Fogazzaro, Pascoli, Carducci, Gallarati Scotti and Lembach. And to this day the tradition lives on, today's owner organising numerous cultural activities, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. The palace is likewise available for hosting corporate events such as lunches, dinners or meetings, not to mention more festive occasions such as weddings and concerts.

A few kilometres east of Milan lies a charming 15th Century castle. The castle as we know it today was born of a group of rural buildings that were fortified in 1422. From 1448 to 1450 Francesco Sforza made of this castle his strategic headquarters during the military operations preceding the conquest of Milan; it was also here that at a later date King Louis XII of France was hosted by the owners, one of the most illustrious of Milan's aristocratic families.
At the centre of the castle stands a slender tower, surrounded at its four corners by towers and a moat that encircles the entire building.
Entering via the door to the central tower, the visitor will find himself in a broad square courtyard, flanked on one side by a portico and on the other by the castle's chapel, richly decorated by 16th century frescoes that were restored in 1927.

The interior of the castle is a spectacle to be admired; the original staircase that leads to the first floor, still intact five centuries after its construction, the magnificent hall of honour presided over by its stone fireplace and eight allegoric figures that reside in their octagonal frame, and the procession of halls and rooms adorned with festoons, frescoes, coats of arms, heraldic mottos and landscapes.
The very majesty of the huilding, its position, isolated, immersed as it is in the green fields that still resist the assault of macadam, all make of this castle a building of particular rare beauty.
Highly recommended for the organisation of : lunches, cocktails, dinners, meetings, conventions and weddings.
